§ 32300 State Printing And Binding

Key Takeaways

  • •The state must print and bind all school papers, forms, and diplomas for public schools (except community colleges and UC schools).
  • •The Department of General Services does this work, not private companies.
  • •The state pays for it like they pay for other printing jobs.

Example

A school needs new report cards for students.

The school can't just order them from any store. The state's printing department must make them, and the school pays the state for it.
