§ 23402 Pre-1972 Death Benefits

Key Takeaways

  • •If someone died before July 1, 1972, their family can still get money from the government.
  • •The old rules from before 1972 still apply to these payments.
  • •This law makes sure families who were already getting help keep getting it.

Example

A worker died in a job accident in 1970, and his family was getting money from the government.
