§ 22202 Board Fund Control Authority

Key Takeaways

  • •A special group (the board) is in charge of the money.
  • •No money can be taken out or moved unless the board says it's okay.
  • •The money can only be used for specific things the law says it can be used for.

Example

Imagine a school has a piggy bank for field trips.

Only the principal and teachers (the board) can decide when to take money out of the piggy bank. They can only use it for field trips, not for buying new computers or paying for lunch.
