§ 19723 Bond Election Procedures

Key Takeaways

  • •This law says that elections for bonds must follow the same rules as elections for trustees.
  • •If there are rules about how to vote for trustees, those same rules apply when voting for bonds.
  • •The law was created in 1976.

Example

Imagine your school is voting for a new rule (like allowing pets in class) and also voting to buy new playground equipment.

The way you vote for the new rule (trustees) is the same way you vote for the playground equipment (bonds). Same steps, same rules.
