§ 19608 Library District Election Ballots

• •The election for a library district follows the same rules as other elections in the state.

• •You vote by writing 'Yes' or 'No' next to those words on the ballot.

You go to vote in your local election and see a question about creating a new library district.

On the ballot, you'll see the words 'For library district.' If you want the library district, you write 'Yes' next to it. If you don't want it, you write 'No'. It's just like voting for anything else in the election.
