§ 19110 County Librarian Sharing Agreement

Key Takeaways

  • •Counties can work together to share one librarian.
  • •This helps smaller counties get a good librarian without paying full price.
  • •The librarian works for all the counties that agree to share.

Example

Two small counties next to each other both need a librarian but don’t have enough money to hire their own.

They can make a deal to hire one librarian who works for both counties. This way, they save money and still get a good librarian for their libraries.
