§ 18100 School Library Services Requirement

• •Every school must have a library for students and teachers.
• •The school can either have its own library or share one with another public agency.
• •The school board is responsible for making sure this happens.

The school board must either set up a library in the school or make a deal with a nearby public library so students can borrow books from there.
