§ 1741 County School Attendance Supervision

• •The county's top school person can watch over kids going to school in certain areas, but only if the county school board says it's okay.
• •If they do this, the school district has to pay the county back for the real cost of making sure kids go to school.
• •This is only for school areas not already covered by another rule (Section 1740).

Imagine a small town where some kids skip school a lot. The county school boss wants to hire someone to check on these kids and make sure they go to school.

The county school boss can do this, but only if the county school board agrees. The town's school will have to pay the county back for the cost of this person’s work.
