§ 16590 Board Administrative Powers

In addition to any other powers and duties as are granted the board by this chapter, the board shall do each of the following: (a) Establish any procedures and policies in connection with the administration of, and the expenditure of funds made available for the purpose of, this chapter that it deems necessary and which are not in conflict with the powers and duties of the State Department of Education or of the director granted or imposed by this chapter. (b) Adopt any rules and regulations for the administration of this chapter, requiring any procedure, forms, and information, that it may deem necessary. (Added by Stats. 1996, Ch. 277, Sec. 2. Effective January 1, 1997. Operative January 1, 1998.)
