§ 16215 Statutory Application Rules

This rule says that a bunch of other rules (sections 16000‑16006, 16009, 16018, 16021, and 16091‑16100) are the default rules to follow when running this article, unless the board decides the situation needs a different rule.

Key Takeaways

  • •The listed sections are the go‑to rules for this article.
  • •The board can change which rule applies if the article’s situation is different.
  • •This only affects how the article is managed, not the content of the other sections.

Example

A city council is creating a new program and looks at the listed sections to see how to run it.

They will use those sections as the guide, but if the program is special and the council thinks another rule fits better, they can choose a different approach.
