§ 16020 State School Property Insurance

The board may require school districts to insure for the benefit of the state all sites, equipment, and buildings which are under Section 16019 the property of the state, against any risk and in any amounts that the board may deem necessary to protect the interests of the state. No state funds apportioned under this chapter shall be used to pay the premiums on the insurance. (Repealed and added by Stats. 1996, Ch. 277, Sec. 2. Effective January 1, 1997. Operative January 1, 1998.)
