§ 7133 Corporate Articles Evidence Rule

Key Takeaways

  • •A certified copy of a company's papers from the government proves the company exists.
  • •This copy is enough to show the company is real, unless someone is challenging its right to exist in a special way.
  • •You don’t need extra proof to show the company is real in most cases.

Example

If a company signs a contract with you, and later they say they aren’t a real company to get out of the deal.

You can show the certified papers from the government to prove they are a real company and must follow the contract.
