§ 28700 Licensee Affiliate Definitions

Key Takeaways

  • •This law defines who is considered an 'office with a licensee'—like a boss, worker, or someone in charge at a company.
  • •A 'subject person' includes anyone who controls the company, works there, or helps run the business.
  • •It’s about who is responsible or involved in a company’s actions.

Example

If a bank manager makes a big decision for the bank, they are a 'subject person' under this law.

Because they help run the bank’s business, they are included in the rules of this law.
