§ 25114 Qualification Validity Period

This law says that most qualifications or permits given by the state last for 12 months, unless the boss in charge says otherwise.

Key Takeaways

  • •Most permits or qualifications last for 12 months.
  • •The boss can change how long they last if they want.
  • •If there’s a special order, the usual 12-month rule might not apply.

Example

If you get a special permit to sell food at a fair, it usually works for 12 months.

After 12 months, you need to get it again unless the boss says it’s good for longer.
