§ 2286 Corporation Fund Award Notice

• •The Secretary of State must send a notice when money is awarded.
• •The notice must go to the corporation and every agent named in the claim.
• •A copy of the decision must be included with the notice.

A worker files a claim against their employer for unpaid wages and wins. The Secretary of State sends a notice to the employer and the payroll manager saying the worker will get the money, and includes a copy of the decision.

The law makes sure the employer and the payroll manager both get the notice and the decision paper, so they know they have to pay.
