§ 12530 Corporate Merger Attorney General Approval

Except as provided in Section 12530.5, any corporation may merge with another domestic corporation, foreign corporation, or other business entity. However, a merger with a nonprofit public benefit corporation or a nonprofit religious corporation must have the prior written consent of the Attorney General. (Amended by Stats. 2015, Ch. 192, Sec. 22. (AB 816) Effective January 1, 2016.)
