§ 4045 General Notice Delivery Methods

Key Takeaways

  • •Important notices can be sent in different ways, like in a bill, on a poster, or on a website.
  • •If you want your notices sent directly to you, you can ask for that.
  • •The group must tell everyone each year how they will send notices.

Example

Your neighborhood group sends out a rule change.

They can put the rule change in your monthly bill, post it on their website, or put up a poster where everyone can see it. If you want them to mail it to you instead, you can ask them to do that.
