§ 8517 Pest Inspection Work Compliance

Key Takeaways

  • •If you write anything about wood-destroying bugs (like termites) in a work contract or bill, you must mention the inspection report.
  • •You have to say if all the recommended work from the inspection report was done. If not, you must list what wasn’t done.
  • •This rule applies to any paper or message about wood pests, like contracts, bills, or letters.

Example

A company sends you a bill for termite treatment at your house.

The bill must mention the termite inspection report and say if all the suggested fixes were done. If they didn’t do everything, they have to list what’s missing.
