§ 7347 Establishment Licensing Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •You need a license to run a business, whether it's new or you're taking over an old one.
  • •You have to pay a fee and promise to follow labor laws when you apply.
  • •If you've done bad things before, you might not get the license.
  • •The license only works for the exact place you applied for—no moving without a new one.

Example

You want to open a pizza shop in a new location.

You must apply for a license, pay the fee, and agree to follow labor laws. If you later move the pizza shop to a different spot, you need a whole new license for that address.

A license issued pursuant to this section shall authorize the operation of the establishment only at the location for which the license is issued.
