§ 7345 Application Abandonment Rules

• •You have one year to finish your application after you start it.
• •You also have one year to take the test after you're allowed to.
• •If you don't do these things in time, your application is thrown out and you lose the fee.
• •If you apply again later, it's like starting over—you have to do everything from the beginning.

You apply for a driver's license but don't take the driving test within a year.

Your application gets canceled, you lose the money you paid, and if you apply again later, you have to start the whole process over.
