§ 7011 Contractor Registrar Appointment

Key Takeaways

  • •The board picks a registrar to handle contractor stuff and sets their pay.
  • •The registrar is the main person who does all the paperwork and admin work for the board.
  • •The registrar can have helpers like a deputy or other assistants if needed.
  • •Everyone hired must follow the usual government hiring rules.

Example

Imagine a group that oversees builders and construction workers.

This group picks one person (the registrar) to be in charge of all the paperwork and rules for builders. That person can also hire helpers to make sure everything runs smoothly, but they all have to be hired the normal way, like any other government job.
