§ 6742 Real Estate Appraisal Exemption

Any person, firm, or corporation holding a license as real estate broker or real estate salesperson, when making appraisals and valuations of real estate properties, while engaged in the business or acting in the capacity of a real estate broker or a real estate salesperson, within the meaning of the Real Estate Law is exempt from registration under the provisions of this chapter. (Amended by Stats. 2016, Ch. 177, Sec. 1. (AB 685) Effective January 1, 2017.)
