§ 4006 Drug Sale Restrictions

Key Takeaways

  • •The board can make rules to limit or stop the sale of certain drugs if they think it's dangerous for people.
  • •These rules must follow other health and safety laws.
  • •The board can do this even if the drug is usually allowed to be sold freely.

Example

A store sells a strong cough medicine that some people use to get high.

If the board finds out that this medicine is causing health problems or accidents, they can make a rule to stop stores from selling it without a prescription.
