§ 3545 Physician Assistant Income Restrictions

Key Takeaways

  • •If a physician assistant (PA) in a PA corporation does something bad and gets disqualified, they can't get money from the work they did while disqualified.
  • •The PA corporation can't give any money or benefits to the disqualified PA for the work they did during that time.
  • •This rule makes sure that disqualified PAs don't profit from their work while they're in trouble.

Example

A physician assistant in a PA corporation gets disqualified for breaking rules, like doing something unethical or illegal.

While they are disqualified, any money they earn from their work as a PA can't go to them. The PA corporation has to make sure the disqualified PA doesn't get paid for that work.
