§ 19488 License Specification Requirements

Key Takeaways

  • •Every horse racing license must include the name of the person who got it.
  • •The license must say where and when the races will happen, including the exact days and times.
  • •It must list how many races there will be each day and how many stalls are available for the horses.
  • •The license must name the person in charge of keeping the racetrack safe.

Example

A person wants to organize horse races at a local track.

Their license must show their name, the track’s name, the race dates and times, how many races happen each day, the number of stalls for horses, and who is making sure the track is safe. If any of this info is missing, the license isn’t valid.
