§ 19483 Multiple Track Ownership Prohibition

• •You can't own or run two horse racing tracks at the same time in the same state.

If you own a horse racing track in Los Angeles and try to buy another one in San Diego, the state might say no.

The law says you can't own two tracks at once unless the board says it's okay. This stops one person from controlling too much of the horse racing business.
