§ 19441 Annual Horse Racing Report

Key Takeaways

  • •The horse racing board must send a report every year to the Governor and the Legislature.
  • •The report must talk about what the board did and how horse racing is doing in the state.
  • •The report must also include ideas on how to make horse racing laws work better.
  • •The report must be sent by January 31 each year.

Example

Imagine the horse racing board is like your school's student council.

Every year, the student council has to write a report for the principal and the school board. They talk about what they did that year, like organizing games or fundraisers, and how things are going with school sports. They also share ideas on how to make school sports better, like having more practice time or better equipment. They have to give this report by a certain date, just like the horse racing board has to give their report by January 31.
