§ 12708 Weighmaster License Denial

Key Takeaways

  • •The government can say no to giving or renewing a weighmaster license if the person isn't good at the job or breaks certain rules.
  • •They can also take away or pause a license if the person does something wrong, like committing a small crime related to the job.
  • •Before taking away a license, there will be a hearing to make sure it's fair.

Example

A weighmaster keeps making mistakes when weighing trucks, causing problems for businesses.

The government can take away their license because they aren't doing the job well, but only after a fair hearing.
